very Hot experience at Sta. Elena

At last I'm home!

What a day! I just experienced my first duty at Sta. Elena Community Health Center in Marikina City. It's so tiring! I didn't expect this to happen! I anticipated that we will be handling patients in the Health Center like taking their vital signs and other stuffs... but unfortunately all we have to do is to knock on the doors and gates of the whole neighborhood of San Roque and Sta. Elena! We walked and survey for OB patients under the great heat of the sun! I hope we won't do this again tomorrow, I may faint or worst --- have a heat stroke! hehehehe

Before going there, I'm so anxious on what will happen there! Our Clinical Instructor didn't mention anything at all, he just want us to be there 15 mins. before 8am.
so I arrived there earlier, phew! i thought I'll be late again. Me and my classmates waited for about 30 mins for our CI! He told us to be early then he's the one who is late! Anyway, we got our proper orientation by the different health workers of the center.... bad thing here is they keep on promoting their city to us.. they also encouraged us to visit their museums and other "tourist spots"! wahhh! I went there to learn and not to visit museums.... hehehe
